Azamor's Selected White 2015 is made from the Antão Vaz and Arinto Portuguese grape varieties. These grapes were harvested by hand and immediately transported to the winery. Upon arrival, they were cooled to a temperature of 5ºC and then pressed in a completely inert environment. The must was clarified by decanting and fermented at a controlled temperature of 17ºC. In the middle of fermentation, about 25% was separated for half French oak barrels and the rest remained in stainless steel vats. This was followed by a six-month aging on fine lees to increase the structure and texture of the Selected White. After aging the wine was blended and bottled, before its launch in August 2018.
Excellent as an aperitif or with fish and seafood.
